 AWARE in Evansville (AWARE en Evansville)

AWARE in Evansville works to assist the community in meeting the needs of low income residents in the Evansville area. AWARE partners with community volunteers and organizations to provide services including; numerous drives benefiting the local food pantry, holiday distributions and Koats for Kids.

AWARE en Evansville ayuda a la comunidad para satisfacer las necesidades de residentes de bajos ingresos en el área de Evansville. AWARE se asocia con organizaciones y voluntarios de la comunindad para ofrecer servicos incluyendo; numerosas colectas de alimentos, distribuciónes de días festivos y abrigos para niños (Koats for Kids).

Evansville Students Take To Streets To Stop Abuse

 

Refuse 2 Bruise Second-Year Program In Evansville

Although many people are involved in abusive relationships, a growing number of those people are teenagers.

 

Health officials said that it's estimated that one in three teens involved in relationships are involved in abusive relationships, whether that be verbal, emotional, physical or sexual. While both boys and girls can be victimized, for girls the abuse tends to be longer-lived, as studies show that 80 percent of girls stay in relationships after the first incident of violence, officials said.
