Shelter Plus Care partners with Rock County Community Services to provide rental counseling and assistance to homeless, mentally ill households in Rock County.  The program providesd a rental subsidy to assist these households in accessing permanent housing, while the Rock County Community Support Program provides intensive case management to assist households in becoming stable.  Additionally, an 18 month rental assistance program is available for homeless, mentally ill households who are already participating in a case management based program either with Community Action or partner agencies.  Qualifying households are located in rural Rock and Walworth Counties.  Participants must meet regularly with a case manager to work toward self-suffiiciency.  Program partners include; Edgerton Community Outreach and Walworth County Health and Family Services.
