Community Action, Inc. of Rock & Walworth Counties welcomes Lisa Hurda as the agency’s Development Manager. Hurda is a Janesville native who has worked in non-profit management for more than ten years. In her new position, Hurda will utilize her background in fund development, donor relations and grant writing to further the agency’s mission of creating pathways out of poverty.
Hurda will be responsible for building the agency’s culture of philanthropy and collaborating with other stakeholders in Rock and Walworth counties. Community Action relies on a mix of government grants, United Way funding and private donations. Hurda will be involved with each of these components in her new role.
