Fatherhood Initiative/Project Thrive
We’ve expanded the Fatherhood Initiative to include more workers and increase our reach.
Project Thrive provides a positive economic impact in both Rock and Walworth counties by collaborating with employers to fill entry level positions with individuals that have the desire and ambition to leave a legacy for their children by becoming independent tax paying citizens.
We use evidence-based curricula of cognitive behavior-based material along with:
- Direction towards job certification trainings and employment placement
- Case management
- Training on soft skills (interviewing techniques, punctuality, etc.)
- Mentorship
Project Thrive might be right for you if:
- You’re a parent with a minor child
- You’re unemployed
- You have a child support order or a criminal background
- You’re eligible for FoodShare
